Star Medi Transportation LLC is looking for a compassionate and reliable NEMT Driver to join our team in Millville, NJ. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of patients who depend on safe, timely transportation to their medical appointments. - Safely transport non-emergency medical patients to and from medical appointments, dialysis centers, and healthcare facilities
- Assist passengers with boarding, exiting, and securing wheelchairs or mobility devices
- Maintain accurate trip logs, mileage records, and documentation in compliance with NEMT regulations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and cleanliness
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, healthcare staff, and patients regarding scheduling and route updates
- Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and patient confidentiality (HIPAA) guidelines
- Provide courteous, patient-centered service to elderly, disabled, and medically fragile passengers
- Valid New Jersey driver's license with a clean driving record
- Prior experience in NEMT, medical transport, or passenger transport preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience operating wheelchair lifts, ramps, and securing mobility devices
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Strong punctuality, reliability, and time management skills
- Compassionate, patient, and professional demeanor when working with vulnerable populations
