Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in a healthcare facility. This position involves delivering high-quality care to adult cardiac, telemetry, stroke, vascular intervention, and hemodynamic monitoring patients. The role requires self-studying telemetry strips, passing a dysrhythmia test, and utilizing advanced nursing skills to provide comprehensive patient care.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education, and Experience: License/certificate verification required; BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required; 0 years of experience required.
• Schedule: Dayshift, 12-hour shifts, estimated 36 hours per week.
• Responsibilities: Deliver patient care utilizing the nursing processassessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluationin coordination with the healthcare team. Provide high quality care to adult patients in cardiac/telemetry, stroke, vascular intervention, and hemodynamic monitoring units.
• Required Qualifications: Current license/certification verification; BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications; ability to self-study telemetry strips and pass a Basic Dysrhythmia test during the first week.
• Preferred Qualifications: Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience within the last 12 months in a comparable unit.
• Additional Information: Estimated work week is 36 hours with the possibility of overtime. The traveler will be responsible for self-studying telemetry strips upon acceptance. A dysrhythmia test must be passed to work on ICU-Cardiac Care Units. Every other weekend rotation and every other holiday required. Periodic on-call during periods of low census, with expected response time within one hour.
