Detailed Description / Responsibilities Administer and support mission workloads in Azure, including virtual machines, storage, networking, identity services (Azure AD/Entra ID), and resource policies Manage and support Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) deployments, including host pools, session hosts, and application delivery Assist with implementation of Azure security controls including identity governance, conditional access, RBAC, policy enforcement, and general cloud hygiene Develop and maintain documentation, standard operating procedures, and best practices for consistent platform use Continuously learn and adopt new Azure cloud technologies, frameworks, and best practices Other duties as assigned Qualifications / Technical Experience Requirements Must be a US citizen Active TS/SCI or ability/willingness to obtain 5+ years of cloud administration experience, preferably in Azure Familiarity with container platforms, Azure Kubernetes Current Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) certification, or the ability to obtain one within six months of hire Security+ or other DoD 8140 IAM Level II certification required Strong organizational, communication, and multi-tasking skills Ability to thrive as part of a small, fast-moving team Strong critical thinking, troubleshooting, and innovation skills All positions at Applied Research Solutions are subject to background investigations.
