VP RCM Software Engineering

:

Your ideal experience will be 10+ years of full-stack Java development; AdoptOpenJDK and Apache Tomcat designing interactive web applications, developing web services, and integrating with vendor APIs, while managing teams. At least 3 years working with Cloud platform Development, preferably Amazon Web Services (AWS). This position may be up to 100% remote depending upon your current location.

Responsibilities

• Work with IT leadership to define and architect functional and non-functional requirements across the enterprise portfolio.
• Design and prototype enterprise-wide solutions with a focus on security, performance, continuous integration, and code quality (unit and integration tests).
• Communicate and collaborate with other Technology managers.
• Identify and implement opportunities to continuously improve Meduit's software development capabilities.
• Refactor codebase to realize just-in-time design within the contextual design.
• Work closely and communicate proactively and effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other relevant fields.
• 10+ years of full-stack Java development; AdoptOpenJDK and Apache Tomcat, designing interactive web applications, developing web services, and integrating with vendor APIs.
• 5+ years as a tech lead and/or director.
• MariaDB or MYSQL database experience.
• Use of tools like Atlassian Jira, Bit Bucket and Open-Source tool Git.
• Unit test creation using TestNG, JUnit, etc.
• Proficiency with the following technologies: Amazon SDK, Apache, Eclipse, Java, JavaScript, Jscript, Bootstrap and Angular.
• Healthcare Revenue Cycle and/or healthcare industry experience a must.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodology/concepts.
• Experience working with geographically dispersed teams.
• Experience deploying cloud solutions.
• Exceptional work ethic, comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and the ability to independently manage a workload with multiple priorities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both technical and non-technical

Preferred:

Knowledge of programming languages such as C/C++, C#/.NET.

Knowledge of Cloud Base Data Warehouse tools like Snowflake.
