About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 18 weeks Shift: 12H Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS Certification Must-Have: Description: The position requires a ratio of 1:5 for Medical Surgical patients. RNs will care for post-OR recovery patients and may float as needed within their scope. Candidates must be able to pass a skills exam during orientation, achieving a minimum score of 90%. Artificial nails are not permitted in departments providing patient care. Refusal to comply with this policy will lead to termination of the contract. The facility has a cancellation policy allowing for the cancellation of up to 4 shifts during a 13-week assignment. Charting is conducted using an electronic medical record system. Experience in oncology is preferred, but not required. Charge nurse experience is required for applicants aiming for charge positions. The care setting is acute, and the trauma level is 1.
