Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Rheumatology Clinic team. The position offers the opportunity to work in an ambulatory setting and requires a commitment to patient care and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.Hours of Operation: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PMTravelers: Travelers with 1 year of ambulatory clinic experience are welcome to apply. First-time travelers are considered only if they have previous ambulatory experience. Applicants must reside more than 100 miles away from the facility. Permanently employed staff must wait 1 full year before returning as travelers.Patient Types: This position is specific to the Rheumatology Clinic.Required Certifications: BLS CertificationEducation: Completion of a nursing education program approved by a board of nursing and possession of a South Dakota RN License is required.Skills Required: Experience in Rheumatology, proficient in rooming patients, experience with ambulatory EPIC system.Support in the Clinic: The clinic team includes Medical Assistants/Certified Assistants, Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Registered Nurses (RNs), Medical Doctors (MDs), Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), Phlebotomy staff (in-house lab department), Radiology services.Charting System: Experience with the EPIC charting system in an ambulatory clinic is required.Floating: Occasional floating may be required based on departmental needs.Orientation: Orientation will depend on the specialty.Scheduling: Weekend rotation: Not applicable. No call responsibilities. Time off requests are subject to supervisor approval.Additional Information: Scrub Color: Navy Blue for RN/LPN. Free parking is available in designated areas.
