About the Position

We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you’ll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program
• Current state license in good standing with the State License Board
• One year experience as an RRT
• BLS certification

Assignment Details

• Perform diagnostic tests, such as pulmonary function tests, arterial blood gas analysis, and sleep studies.
• Administer and monitor various forms of respiratory therapy, including oxygen therapy, mechanical ventilation, and inhalation therapy.
• Educate patients and their families on disease management, breathing techniques, and the use of respiratory equipment.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate and complete patient records and documentation.
