Veterinarian – Cats Only Veterinary Hospital

Location: 19 Brookside Ave, Pennington, NJ

Job Type: Full Time or Part-Time (Part Time: 1-4 days per week, including at least one Saturday per month)

Compensation: $80-$120/hour (Based on experience; Max yearly salary $120K-$180K)

Cats Only Veterinary Hospital and MCSNIP is seeking a dedicated veterinarian to join our bustling private practice and growing team of professionals in Pennington.

We are a feline-only practice committed to providing high-quality, specialized care for our patients. Our growing team is looking for a compassionate and skilled veterinarian with an interest in feline and internal medicine to help expand our services. We are flexible with scheduling and open to working with candidates to accommodate availability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive medical care to feline patients, including exams, diagnostics, and treatment plans
• Perform routine surgeries and procedures, such as spays/neuters and dental cleanings (if desired)
• Work collaboratively with our veterinary team to develop and implement patient treatment plans
• Educate clients on preventative care, nutrition, and common feline health concerns
• Maintain accurate and thorough medical records in our practice management software (Vetport)
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment while providing excellent client service
• Participate in occasional Saturday shifts (at least one per month) to help accommodate patient needs
• Collaborate on internal medicine cases and work with a team that values progressive feline healthcare

Requirements:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an accredited program
• Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in the state of New Jersey
• Interest in feline and internal medicine (previous feline-exclusive experience is a plus but not required)
• Strong communication and client education skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-based environment
• Willingness to work at least one Saturday per month
• Commitment to continued learning and professional development
• Preferred 5+ Years of post-grad experience
• Preferred ability to perform spay and neuter on cats
