Shift: Night, 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)

Hours/Week: 36

Employment Type: Contract/Per Diem

Licenses/Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, FHM (required)

Experience: 2+ years in high-risk OB, teaching hospital experience, Epic experience, 200-300 births/month

Hourly Pay Rate: $63.65

What You'll Do

• Provide exceptional nursing care for high-risk obstetric patients in a fast-paced, teaching hospital environment
• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being during labor and delivery
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Administer medications and interventions as per hospital protocols
• Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR system
• Provide patient education and emotional support during labor and postpartum
• Ensure safety and compliance with all hospital policies and procedures

What You Need

• Valid RN license in Louisiana or eligible for licensure
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in high-risk OB nursing
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, and FHM
• Experience in teaching hospitals and with 200-300 births per month

• Epic EMR experience
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, high-volume setting
