As a Security Officer Full Time Guest Check In in Montrose, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a government location serving veterans, you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor activity, and provide clear, courteous communication. Your presence will help maintain a secure environment while delivering exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $22.12 - $23.12 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and authorized personnel at a government front desk by following site-specific procedures and access protocols.
• Monitor entry activity, greet and direct visitors, verify identification and appointments as required, and maintain accurate visitor records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
• Assist with access control by issuing and collecting visitor credentials, monitoring restricted-entry points, and reporting unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity.
• Complete required logs, reports, and administrative documentation while maintaining a professional presence at the front desk.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 2+ years of security-related experience.
• Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
