We are currently seeking a Room Service/Ambassador at NMC Health. In this role, you are responsible for taking and delivering patient meal orders according to the Room Service Manual. Additionally, this role takes inventory and restocks all dry items for the Galley Floor Stock. These are all done all while serving up hospitality, for patients, their families and visitors. Even so, our work isn’t just about cooking, serving, and cleaning. We set the stage for healing with sparkling facilities, great food and compassionate service. This is the kind of work that takes a big heart for service and for supporting NMC Health's mission to improve health in our community.

Several part-time positions and hours are available - ability to work weekends, holidays, varying schedules (mornings, evenings)

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and experience:

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred
• Prior food handling experience is a plus

Knowledge, skills, & abilities:

• Must be able to read, write (English) and be able to communicate effectively with Nursing staff and patients.
• Must understand basic math and be able to learn all necessary tasks related to the job.
