Platform Engineer

Responsibilities Design, engineer, and maintain enterprise CDS platforms to ensure secure, reliable cross‑domain data transfer Administer and configure user interface applications and external services to deliver seamless interaction with CDS systems Manage and maintain user accounts across supported environments Implement and sustain monitoring, logging, and alerting capabilities for platform health and performance Partner closely with cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with DoD security policies and accreditation standards Troubleshoot and resolve complex system and platform issues while supporting end users Automate deployment processes to improve efficiency and consistency Document system architectures, technical procedures, and operational workflows Qualifications Required: Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility BA/BS degree in a related field (AA/AS and additional experience may be considered) Minimum 5 years' experience in RHEL Administration Minimum 5 years' experience with VMware Minimum 5 years' experience applying security patches to Linux systems Current DoD 8140 cybersecurity certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+) Strong problem‑solving abilities and customer service orientation Broad experience with system/server hardware, operating systems, software applications, and network connectivity Ability to work proactively, anticipate issues, and use resources efficiently Experience working collaboratively with client managers and system users Desired Administrator‑level certifications in technologies such as Microsoft, RHEL, Linux, or VMware VM certification SEIM implementation and/admin experience Experience with GitOps What You Can Expect A culture of integrity. Pay Range There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
