Responsibilities Sales & Business Development: Selling industrial, medical, and specialty gases, welding supplies, and related equipment. This includes soliciting sales from both new and existing customers. Customer Support: Assisting customers via email, telephone, and in-person walk-ins. Providing guidance on equipment usage and material requirements. Operations & Logistics: Managing the loading and unloading of cylinders, operating forklifts, and serving as a backup driver when necessary. Inventory Management: Monitoring and maintaining proper hardgoods and cylinder levels to prevent supply emergencies. Administrative & Financial: Managing accounts receivable, including discussing past‑due accounts and collecting payments. Ensuring all paperwork is accurately completed, including coding, costing, and pricing. Required Qualifications Must have a valid Class A or B Driver's License. Valid Medical Examiner's Card. Must have the Hazmat Endorsement or be able to obtain the endorsement within 60 days of being hired. Must be at least 21 years old. Must have one (1) year of prior Class A professional driving experience within the last five (5) years. Successful completion of Airgas Background and Motor Vehicle Check. DOT Clearinghouse verification from previous employers is required. Ability to routinely lift or move around 25 - 75 lbs., and occasionally lift 76 to greater than 100 lbs. Willingness to work outdoors in changing temperatures. Ability to maintain a drug‑free workplace. Adherence to safety regulations and policies. Flexible to work overtime as needed.
