Quick Facts Location: Athens, OH 45701 Start Date: 04/28/2026 End Date/Duration: Ongoing / Long-term opportunity Shift: 24-hour shifts (flexible scheduling) Hours/week: Varies based on schedule Employment Type: Permanent License/Certifications: Valid Ohio medical license, Board Certified/Eligible OB-GYN Experience: Minimum several years of OB-GYN hospitalist experience Pay & Benefits Hourly Rate: $1.00 (paid weekly via direct deposit) Competitive salary package to be discussed at interview Relocation assistance, if applicable Medical Benefits: Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance Additional Benefits: Life insurance, short- and long-term disability, employee stock purchase plan, 401(k) with match, HSA, FSA, Aflac plans, identity protection, Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Paid Sick Time: In accordance with applicable state, federal, and local laws What You’ll Do Provide OB triage, inpatient admissions, and delivery services for hospitalized patients Collaborate with community OBs, specialists, and hospital staff to ensure continuity of care Manage obstetric and gynecologic emergencies with a multidisciplinary team Offer real-time communication with outpatient physicians for triage visits, new issues, and deliveries Enhance patient satisfaction and clinical outcomes through best practices in obstetric care Support OB critical care services and emergency department management Maintain compliance with hospital policies and safety standards What You Need Valid Ohio medical license and Board Certification or Eligibility in OB-GYN Several years of hospital-based OB-GYN experience Strong collaboration and communication skills Commitment to high-quality patient care and safety standards Not accepting locum, visa, commuters, or new graduates for this position About the Assignment This opportunity involves joining a highly supportive and cohesive OB hospitalist team in Athens.
