Adams Memorial Hospital
The Medical Assistant (CMA) performs a variety of clinical and clerical duties under the direct supervision of a Physician. Responsibilities include assisting with patient care by rooming patients, obtaining and documenting vital signs and the reason for the visit, assisting with procedures and in-office testing, and providing other clinical support as needed. Clerical responsibilities include scheduling appointments, obtaining pre-certifications for procedures, coordinating referrals, and maintaining accurate patient documentation. The CMA works collaboratively as a member of the interdisciplinary healthcare team and supports Adams Memorial Health Network’s mission, vision, and values while providing quality, compassionate patient care.
Eligible for medical coverage on your first day of employment, all other benefits will be effective the 1st of the month following hire date!Requirements: 36 hours per week - First Shift Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM CMA or RMA Certification BLS/CPR Certification Equal Opportunity Employer
