Associate Art Director

Join JACKSON Marketing as an Associate Art Director in Simpsonville, SC (onsite). This role blends concept development, visual leadership, and client-facing creative presentation, helping shape integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels while working alongside a copywriter and a collaborative creative team. You will translate strategy and messaging into design-forward ideas, guide visual development from initial concept through final execution, and support campaign consistency across deliverables and brand requirements. What you’ll do Present and sell creative solutions to internal teams, current clients, and prospective clients in a clear, thoughtful, and compelling way Partner with copywriters and other creatives to develop strong concepts and cohesive integrated campaigns Develop creative concepts and visual directions for client projects across multiple channels Lead visual development from initial concept through final execution Maintain visual consistency across deliverables and channels while working within client brand requirements Manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines while maintaining high creative quality Support the Account team when presenting new ideas to current clients Create effective, innovative solutions to clients’ marketing problems Notify key team members when client changes may impact project budget or schedule What you bring High School Diploma (or equivalent) 3+ years of professional design experience, preferably in an agency or similarly fast-paced environment Up-to-date knowledge of design trends and best practices Strong understanding of using creative solutions to solve marketing problems Excellent presentation and communication skills Deep command of design fundamentals including typography, layout, branding, and visual storytelling Ability to design for multiple mediums including digital, mail, print, storyboarding, and more to build fully integrated campaigns Ability to meet quality and accuracy standards under tight deadlines Awareness of great work, trending campaigns, and industry news Service attitude with willingness to go beyond expectations and guide across departments to support a positive team environment Strong time management, organization, and critical thinking with proven ability to prioritize and multitask Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud , PowerPoint , and industry-standard software (emerging AI tools are a plus) Comfort giving and receiving creative feedback Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos Proactive, resourceful team player Commitment to JACKSON company values: Uncommon Creativity , Uncommon Collaboration , and the Golden Rule Preferred Bachelor’s degree in a related field Minimum 1-5 years of design experience in an agency environment Minimum 4 years of experience in brand marketing A growth mindset and career path to progress into a Senior Art Director and/or Associate Creative Director Tools and technologies Adobe Creative Cloud PowerPoint Microsoft Outlook Microsoft Word Microsoft Excel Role logistics Location: On-site at JACKSON HQ in Simpsonville (Greenville), SC Travel: Minimal (5-10%) Supervisory responsibilities: Graphic Designer(s); Freelance Contractors depending on workload Work environment: Climate-controlled office; noise level usually moderate General collaboration: Flexible company; best collaboration is face-to-face General purpose Actively develop on-strategy concepts and content that produce great work. #J-18808-Ljbffr Jackson Marketing Services
