Description

American Traveler is seeking a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist for a day shift travel assignment requiring 2 years of experience and the ability to float across ICU, ED, and floor units.

Details

• Respiratory Care department in a 134-bed hospital
• Float requirement includes ICU, ED, and all floor units
• Works with all patient types across the facility
• Patient ratios vary by unit
• Uses PB 980, V60, Airvo, and Aerogen equipment
• Epic EMR used for documentation
• 3x12 day shift schedule from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Weekend commitment of 24 of 36 scheduled hours
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• RRT or CRT certification required
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• State license required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Must be able to work independently
• Epic EMR experience required or must complete training/testing prior to start
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Works alongside various personality types in a laid-back team environment
• Grey scrubs required; ripped jeans, tank tops, and flip flops not permitted
• Must complete Epic training or test out if eligible prior to first day
• Must complete hospital-required education modules prior to first day
• Enter through the ED and contact Respiratory Care upon arrival to be escorted
• Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius at a reduced bill rate
