Maintenance Spray TechnicianReports To: Maintenance Division ManagerDepartment: MaintenanceSummary DescriptionThe Maintenance Spray Technician is responsible for performing lawncare service work that includes chemicals for weekly maintenance customers. The Spray Technician must be able to train other crew members on how they can identify when the Spray Technician is needed. This position requires a detailed knowledge of the products and services the Spray Technician provides so that it can be communicated to the customer clearly. Applicant must have a valid driver's license, good driving history, and pass a drug screening.Specific ResponsibilitiesThe following duties are typical for this classification. Incumbents may not perform all duties listed and/or may be required to perform additional or different duties from those set forth below to address business needs and changing business practices.Perform lawncare service work including fertilizing, spraying, liming, aerations, and seedingTrain new employees to increase their knowledge and ability to assist you as the Spray TechnicianManage productivityLicensing/recertificationOrganize and manage route assignmentsOversee daily production and performanceCustomer serviceManage materials inventoryMSDS binderBe able to use the following equipment:Measure WheelsSpray WandsBack PacksSoil ProbesSpreadersHosesCovers and ScreenspH MetersAeratorsSpill KitsTake care of the warehouse/fill station by keeping supplies, tools, and equipment clean and organizedComplete all assigned tasks to specified quality levels by their agreed deadlineProvide outstanding customer serviceMaintain and use Personal Protection Equipment (PPE)Be familiar with the company's maintenance program and guidelinesCommunicate to the Field Service Supervisor any concerns or issues noted on current maintenance customer propertiesRequirements-Read, write and speak in English-Have a valid Georgia driver's license, an insurable driving record, and qualify to drive company vehicles-Demonstrate the ability to lead, supervise, and set priorities-Demonstrate ability to train othersDutiesThe following duties are mandatory for all employees of Quick Design Inc.
