Junior UI/UX Designer

Seeking a full-time remote Junior UI/UX Designer, the candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create user-centric applications for a Department of Veterans Affairs project, focusing on usability, accessibility, and high availability. Key responsibilities: Collaborate with Business Analysts, developers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into intuitive design solutions Design wireframes, mockups, and prototypes using tools like Figma to communicate design intent Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions and ensure accessibility compliance Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, HCI, or related field Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a UI/UX Designer with a strong portfolio Strong understanding of Human-Centered Design (HCD) principles and Section 508 compliance Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma Experience working in Agile environments with iterative development cycles
