We believe that a small dedicated team with a flat structure and collaborative culture can move faster and build better products than large hierarchical organizations.About The RoleWe are looking for a skilled Backend Engineer to play a key role in developing and maintaining our cutting-edge AI Workflow Orchestration platform. You will be responsible for creating innovative, scalable, and high-performing software solutions that meet both the needs of our customers and the company's strategic objectives.What We're Looking For6+ years of experience in backend software development, with a solid understanding of backend technologies and frameworksHigh level of proficiency in the Java programming language; Python is a nice to haveCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to translate business requirements into technical solutionsExperience with database systems (SQL/NoSQL, embeddings) and data storage solutions.Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and any cloud platform like GCP, AWS, AzureA strong emphasis on high decomp skills, with the ability think creatively to develop effective solutions to complex design challenges while balancing project delivery expectationsWork experience with software development best practices, including version control (e.g., Git), automated testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD)Leadership and collaboration qualities, enthusiasm for real-world, responsible impactNice To HaveExperience working with AI/ML tools and products, with an understanding of the capabilities and limitations of the technologiesWe're committed to creating a space where our employees can bring their full selves to work and have equal opportunity to succeed.
