Position: 622 Credit Recovery Teacher – Tartan High School Work Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 3:00 pm – 4:30 pm Start Date: October 2025 / ASAP Pay and Benefits: $40.48/hour, in accordance with the teacher labor agreement – Date Available: October 2025 Purpose of Program Students in grades 9–12 needing to recover credits to graduate with same‑age peers. Required Qualifications Tier 3 or Tier 4 Teaching License for grades 9–12 Will work with the district to obtain a cross‑curricular license covering all core curriculum areas Responsibilities Provide instruction in the core curriculum areas Provide student supervision and classroom management for a variety of students and grade levels Make appropriate use of instructional resources and technologies Implement the goals and objectives of the district and the school (or program) for which employed Follow the prescribed course of study, except as authorized in the curriculum outlines or by principals or other official rules and regulations Evaluate student performance according to the system used by the school and/or district; promote student achievement; maintain required student records; make related reports to the principal as prescribed or authorized by the superintendent Maintain contact and communications with parents of students and work with them in the development of each student Perform classroom management duties; enforce district rules governing the conduct of students; take appropriate disciplinary action with students who do not follow district rules Independent School District No. 622, North St. Paul‑Maplewood‑Oakdale, does not discriminate on the basis of sex and prohibits sex discrimination in any educational program or activity.
