PSOC Analyst - Part Time

About the role:The Protective Service Operator / Analyst reports to the appropriate Team Lead. They provide continuous global intelligence monitoring for the detection of any potential threats to personnel, property, and client reputation (both domestic and international) and reports within the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC). They proactively monitor and communicate movement of assigned executives utilizing various communication platforms and determine the appropriate escalation of threats in accordance with established protocols.In this role, your responsibilities will be:Actively monitor multiple security information feeds; open source media, third-party provider information/analysis subscriptions, and other sources to support threat awareness and forecasting.Determine appropriate escalation of threats within set Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Ensure all reports are timely, accurate and actionable and adheres to reporting criteria.Provide intelligence reports, including travel security and assessments.As a candidate, you must have:Combination of 3-5 years’ experience with military, physical security, law enforcement, intelligence services AND/OR degree in relevant disciplineAbility to conduct research, intelligence gathering and analytics to interpret complex data and informationExercise good judgment within defined procedures and policies to determine appropriate actionSelf-starter that requires little to no supervision while meeting project deadlinesExcellent verbal and written communicationsAbility to multitask, prioritize and to handle emergency situationsAbility to interact with staff of all levels, in a high pressure and fast paced environment.Demonstrate a high level of discretion, ability to handle confidential information and exercise sound judgment.Must be able to work a flexible, rotational scheduleMust complete and maintain state guard certification as prescribed by presiding state law, as well as client requested certifications; all documentation and fees are the responsibility of the employee unless otherwise notedPreferred experience with incident case management systemsPreferred experience working in a GSOC or Fusion Center in an Executive Protection, Intelligence Analyst, or similar rolePreferred Bachelor's/Master's Degree, or equivalentWe offer:$45.21/hrPaid Time Off including Sick/Safe TimeA dynamic and challenging work environment with opportunity for growthSecurity Industry Specialists, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer #J-18808-Ljbffr Security Industry Specialist Inc
