Registered Nurse - Stepdown/Med Surg Unit

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse for our Stepdown/Med Surg unit. This role involves providing high-quality care to patients experiencing respiratory issues, acute kidney injury (AKI), weakness, urinary tract infections (UTI), and chest pain.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care in accordance with established protocols.
• Titrate drips including Heparin, Insulin, Cardizem, and Amiodarone.
• Monitor patient vital signs and implement necessary interventions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
• Document care and patient progress in EPIC charting system.

Schedule or Shift

This position is for 12-hour night shifts, including weekends as scheduled, offering a total of 36 hours per week.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must possess valid RN license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Experience in a stepdown or med surg setting is essential.
