Position Purpose:

Our Cedar Falls Surgery Department has 3 Operating Rooms. We do a variety of cases with an emphasis on orthopedics, ophthalmology and bariatrics. Our nurses scrub, circulate and assist. Our OR now features a Mako robot!

What you will Do:

Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care of patients.

Supervises and coordinates care provided by LPNs and PCAs.

Facilitates communication with physicians, families and other team members.

Hours/Schedule:

• .8 FTE, 32 hours per week

• Monday - Friday

• Varying start and end, primarily 6am to 2:30 pm but can flex based on surgical schedule

• 5-6 after shift call rotations in a 6 week schedule (after shift to 1700)

• Must be within 30 minutes during call rotation.

• No holidays

• No weekends

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current IA RN license

• BSN preferred

• No previous experience required
