Heartline Staffing is recruiting a Technical service Manager for an onsite opportunity in Wheeling, Illinois. This role combines technical service coordination, customer support, troubleshooting, warranty and startup monitoring, service-provider training, and cross-functional coordination within a food equipment environment.

The Technical service Manager will serve as a key service contact while supporting customers, end users, technicians, service companies, equipment dealers and other professionals involved in equipment installation and service. The role requires strong communication and coordination skills along with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues and maintain accurate service and asset information.

COMPENSATION

SERVICE COORDINATION
• Monitor equipment startups and warranty calls
• Maintain accurate service status and asset tracking information in internal systems
• Train service companies and equipment dealer sales and service personnel
• Support service scheduling, status updates and follow-up activities

TECHNICAL & CUSTOMER SUPPORT
• Serve as a contact for customer service inquiries
• Troubleshoot technical issues with end users and technicians
• Communicate professionally through phone, text, email and service portals
• Field service-related calls from consultants, general contractors, HVAC professionals, electricians, plumbers, dealers, installers and end users
• Provide timely service updates and follow-up support

CROSS-FUNCTIONAL SUPPORT
• Work closely with service managers and technicians
• Coordinate with sales teams and culinary personnel
• Collaborate with other departments to support efficient service workflow
• Support communication among customers, service providers and internal teams

SERVICE ANALYSIS & SYSTEMS
• Assist with analyzing service trends
• Review customer feedback
• Support improvements in operational efficiency
• Track service activity through Dynamics 365 Service Hub

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar outside sales or territory sales position REQUIRED
• Industry experience REQUIRED
• Ability to proactively develop new business and seek new customers REQUIRED
• Experience managing and growing existing customer accounts REQUIRED
• Ability to work proactively, independently and as a self-starter REQUIRED
• Strong sales drive and organizational skills REQUIRED
• Customer-focused approach REQUIRED
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team REQUIRED
• Willingness to travel extensively throughout the assigned Florida territory REQUIRED
• High school diploma or equivalent REQUIRED

PREFERRED
• Construction or building-products sales experience
• Experience selling to fabricators, glaziers, contractors or architects
• Experience in railing systems, architectural products, glass/glazing, metal fabrication or related construction markets
