Senior Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Providence Mission Hospital Location: Mission Viejo, CA | Position type: PT | Shift: 10-hour variable shifts (Per-Diem, Variable) Responsibilities Perform and document quality nuclear medicine procedures (invasive and noninvasive) for neonate, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. Work under minimal supervision to support supervisor and radiologist in carrying out duties that contribute to an efficient Nuclear Medicine department. Promote positive working relationships with patients, families, physicians, and colleagues to ensure excellent patient care and teamwork. Required Qualifications Associate's Degree in Nuclear Medicine (or equivalent education/experience). Completed coursework/training and participation in continuing education program. National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (upon hire). National Registered Technologist – Nuclear Medicine Technology (upon hire). California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification (upon hire). National Provider BLS – American Heart Association (upon hire). At least 1 year of experience as a technologist in a hospital setting and/or imaging center. Preferred Qualifications At least 2 years of experience as a technologist in a hospital setting and/or imaging center.
