Civil Litigation Defense Attorney, emphasis in employment law matters. Successful applicant will work collaboratively with others in the firm and independently on firm cases. Primary handling of files and involvement in all aspects form intake through trial increases with experience and proficiency. Company Description S&W is a mid-sized Thousand Oaks based civil defense law firm with emphasis in employment law. The firm has a good working atmosphere, with many of our attorneys and staff being with us for 10 years or more. Role Description This is a full-time defense attorney position, with emphasis in employment defense, including wage and hour, representative actions, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims. We have a collaborative environment and while most work is on site, have some flexibility for remote work as well, depending on experience and ability to work independently. Salary range is $110K to $140K depending on years of practice and level of experience in employment litigation. Qualifications Active CA bar admission Experience in drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery Strong communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail and confidentiality Ability to work well with others and independently on cases Strong legal research skills Experience in defending employment lawsuits preferred Experience defending representative and class action claims a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr
