Role: Oracle Accounting Hub (AHCS) Technical SME Consultant W2 Position

Location: Chicago, IL

Job Summary

Experienced Oracle Accounting Hub (AHCS) Technical SME responsible for design, development, integration, implementation, reporting, performance optimization, and production support across Oracle Accounting Hub and Oracle Cloud Finance GL .

The role focuses on Oracle Cloud integrations, AHCS inbound interfaces, data ingestion, data transformation, ODI, OIC, APIs, SQL/PLSQL, Python, and reporting .

Key Responsibilities Integration Architecture & Development

• Design end-to-end integration architecture for Oracle Accounting Hub and Oracle Fusion applications.
• Develop integrations using:
  • ODI
  • OIC
  • REST/SOAP APIs
  • XML / JSON
  • FBDI
  • File-based integrations
  • SQL / PL/SQL
  • Python
• Define integration patterns, security standards, and data exchange mechanisms.

Accounting Hub Data Integration

• Design source data ingestion frameworks for AHCS.
• Develop source-to-target mappings and transformation logic.
• Design accounting event and transaction data structures.
• Develop and support AHCS inbound interfaces .
• Onboard multiple source systems into Accounting Hub.
• Ensure data quality, completeness, and reconciliation.

Data Model & Transformation

• Design and optimize accounting and reconciliation data models.
• Develop transformations using ODI, OIC, SQL, PL/SQL, and Python .
• Create reusable integration components.
• Resolve data integrity and performance issues.
• Support large-volume transaction processing and data loading.

Troubleshooting & Production Support

• Troubleshoot interface failures and integration defects.
• Perform root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Monitor and optimize integration performance.
• Support SIT, UAT, cutover, go-live, and hypercare .
• Create support documentation and operational procedures.

Reporting & Analytics

Experience with:

• OTBI
• BI Publisher
• Financial Data Intelligence (FDI)

Develop:

• Dashboards
• Reconciliation reports
• Exception reports
• Ad hoc analytics

Documentation & Governance

• Technical design documents
• Interface specifications
• Deployment guides
• Audit/compliance/data governance
• Design reviews
• Knowledge transfer

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years Oracle Financials technical implementation experience.
• 5+ years hands-on Oracle Accounting Hub (AHCS) experience.
• Strong Oracle Cloud integration and data architecture experience.
• Proven experience designing/supporting Accounting Hub interfaces .
• Strong experience with:
  • ODI
  • OIC
  • REST/SOAP
  • XML
  • JSON
  • FBDI
  • SQL
  • PL/SQL
  • Python
• Large-scale enterprise integration experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization.
• Experience working with Finance, Accounting, and business stakeholders.
