Radiation Oncologist
Cape Cod Healthcare
Cape Cod Healthcare is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Radiation Oncologist to join their established team in the new Edwin Barbey Patient Care Pavilion. This role involves providing services at both Hyannis and Falmouth, MA sites, contributing to a comprehensive cancer program. The ideal candidate will value collaborative working relationships with various medical staff to deliver high-level, comprehensive care to oncology patients.
Practice Info
- Services provided at two sites: Hyannis and Falmouth, MA
- Cancer program accredited by the American College of Surgeons as a comprehensive cancer center
- Accredited breast program through the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers
- Radiation oncology department accredited by the American College of Radiology
- Treatment delivered on Varian Edge and TrueBeam machines with ExacTrac Dynamic patient monitoring
- Utilizes state-of-the-art planning technology including MIM and Eclipse, and a combination of Epic and Aria electronic medical records
Responsibilities
- Provide services at both Hyannis and Falmouth, MA sites
- Collaborate with medical oncology, physics, dosimetry, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive care
Compensation
- Competitive Salary and RVU based bonus structure

- $2 million/$6 million malpractice coverage

Shift & Schedule
- 32 hour/ 4 day work week
- Call is divided equally among physicians
Requirements
- Board Certified/Board Eligible Radiation Oncologist
- Experience with IMRT and IGRT preferred
- Experience with low dose rate prostate seed implantation preferred
- Experience with HDR brachytherapy preferred
- Experience with SRS/SBRT preferred
