SUMMARY: Provide a high level of customer service through Store and Guest Services operations to ensure guests have a positive experience at OHI San Diego. Support daily retail operations by assisting guests, maintaining inventory accuracy, processing sales transactions, managing product organization, and providing knowledgeable product support. Ensure personal, operational, and quality standards are consistently met while maintaining a welcoming and professional environment. Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including Monday through Sunday, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting guests with product questions, purchases, returns, and general inquiries.
• Promote store products by providing accurate product knowledge and recommendations to customers.
• Process sales transactions, payments, and returns accurately using POS systems.
• Maintain clean, organized, and welcoming store displays and sales areas.
• Manage inventory through stocking, replenishment, organization, and routine inventory counts.
• Process shipping and receiving of merchandise while verifying accuracy of deliveries.
• Maintain an orderly warehouse and product storage area.
• Assist with monthly and quarterly inventory procedures to ensure accurate stock levels.
• Organize, store, and replenish merchandise according to company standards.
• Support customer orders and provide assistance with product availability and order status.
• Handle multiple tasks while meeting daily operational goals and deadlines.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members to ensure excellent service.

Retail Store Associate Duties:

• Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests with product questions, purchases, returns, and general inquiries.
• Promote products by providing accurate product knowledge and recommendations based on customer needs.
• Process sales transactions, payments, and returns accurately using POS systems.
• Maintain organized store displays, product presentation, and a clean customer shopping environment.
• Manage inventory levels through stocking, replenishment, organization, and routine inventory counts.
• Perform shipping and receiving duties, including checking deliveries, organizing merchandise, and maintaining warehouse/storage areas.
• Support online order processing by preparing, organizing, and fulfilling customer purchases.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with monthly and quarterly inventory procedures.
• Resolve customer concerns professionally while maintaining a positive customer experience.
• Follow company policies, safety procedures, and operational standards.
• Mail brochures and confirmation letters.
• Perform ProSolon Close out.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Warehouse Associate:

• Received, inspected, organized, and stored incoming products and inventory shipments.
• Maintained accurate stock levels and assisted with inventory control procedures.
• Prepared customer orders, shipments, and product transfers with attention to accuracy.
• Maintained an organized warehouse and storage environment.
• Assisted with lifting, moving, and organizing merchandise weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Worked efficiently in a fast-paced environment while meeting daily operational goals.

EDUCATION: Associates degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 2 years of retail sales experience providing customer service, product support, and sales assistance in a store environment.
• Minimum 2 years experience providing customer service in customer care environments such as (hospitality, holistic healthcare, retail, ministry, education etc.) and 2 years experience providing customer service in a call center environment.
• Minimum 2 years extensive customer service experience relating to educating clients in product support and/or product knowledge.
• Minimum 2 years of experience managing store inventory, including receiving, stocking, replenishment, organization, inventory counts, and maintaining accurate product records.
• Experience working on computers in enterprise reporting systems(s).

COMPUTER SKILLS:

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance.
