Position Summary: As the Flagship Store Manager of our highly anticipated SoHo reopening, you will create and maintain an environment that reflects the brand’s spirit, with a dedicated and efficient sales team that delivers a great customer experience and represents G-Star’s DNA. You’ll foster a customer-focused sales culture to optimize both brand and shopping experience, as well as store performance. You will have the chance to work closely with key leaders to implement new ideas and processes to elevate the store to the next level. You’ll manage hiring, developing and retention of store staff, sales generation, KPI performance, operational excellence, visual presentation and ensuring exceptional G-Star experiences for our customers with your team! Responsibilities: Drive store performance through optimal real-time KPI management. Provide hands-on guidance and support to the store team to achieve KPIs and improve results across talent, operations, products, customer service, and financial aspects. Share real-time performance insights, trends, and key business drivers with the District Manager. Develop business strategies to raise brand awareness, increase store traffic and market share. Team Development Responsible for team performance through hiring, training, and development in sales techniques, customer service, teamwork, and G-Star DNA. Provide direct guidance to store staff. Ensure and promote an inclusive work environment. Motivate and enhance team engagement. Oversee the performance management of the store staff to achieve the desired results. Conduct personnel performance reviews to assess training needs and build career paths. Store Operations Ensure staff follow policies and procedures. Maintain product replenishment and store cleanliness at all times. Ensure VM standards and marketing campaign execution align with store concept and G-Star standards (product presentation, mannequins, window displays, signage, etc.). Complete store administration (payroll, scheduling, back of house, etc.) and ensure compliance with policies and procedures. Responsible for resolving customer service inquiries, dealing with issues quickly and courteously. Report on buying trends, product performance, customer needs, etc. Operational excellence, as it relates to paperwork, shipping, receiving, transfers, markdowns and general organization. Qualifications: 4-5 years of experience in store management. Strong knowledge of retail sales and related KPIs, budgeting and forecasting, and action plan development to boost store performance. Industry experience: preferably denim/fashion or luxury product, familiarity with commission-based models. Fashion-minded, follow trends and developments closely, and inspire our customers and employees. Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
