Description - Your Role & Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and advanced laboratory testing across various fields like chemistry, hematology, and immunology, following established protocols meticulously.
• Evaluate test results for precision, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and carry out preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory instruments.
• Help with the collection of specimens and preparation of samples for test analysis as needed.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of all procedures, mentor new staff or trainees, and contribute to sustaining laboratory quality standards.
• Ensure a clean, safe workspace while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or equivalent allied health degree, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• Aspire to obtain ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within your first year of employment.
• Commit to maintaining your certification throughout your tenure.
