Job Title: Patient Care & Practice Growth Coordinator

Location: San Marcos, CA 92078

Pay: $20.00 – $23.00 per hour

Schedule: 6–12 hours per week (Part-time, W-2)

Collaborative Health (Sprague Medical Corp) is a growing primary care practice in San Marcos led by Dr. Tyler Sprague. We focus on personalized, patient-centered care and strong community relationships.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a versatile coordinator to support front-office operations on clinic days and drive marketing/outreach during flexible remote hours. This hybrid role is ideal for a proactive professional who enjoys helping patients and wants to play a key role in growing a private practice.

Responsibilities:

• Clinic & Patient Support (On-Site): Greet patients, handle check-ins, manage appointment schedules, and answer phone calls or emails.
• Insurance & Referrals: Verify insurance details, process specialist referrals, request medical records, and track HMO/IPA authorizations.
• Marketing & Outreach (Remote): Create basic graphics using Canva, schedule social media content, draft email newsletters, and assist with outreach to local senior communities, brokers, and referral partners.
• Clinic Operations: Assist with basic office administrative duties and recommend workflow improvements.

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of medical front-office or patient coordination experience.
• Hands-on experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and scheduling tools.
• Understanding of insurance verification, medical records, and referral workflows.
• Basic experience with Canva, social media management, or email marketing platforms.
• Friendly, organized, and reliable, with availability on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays.
