Insurance Agent Trainee

Location(s): Knoxville, Tennessee. Role Life Insurance Sales Agent – Full‑time with benefits, field role. Responsibilities Conduct sales presentations, recommend products, and close new sales. Prospect new sales opportunities. Maintain strong customer relationships by collecting premiums on a pre‑arranged schedule. Respond promptly to service requests such as beneficiary changes, claims, and loans. Record keeping, account for money collected, and process policy paperwork. Agent Expectations Grow the assigned territory through new sales. Build strong working relationships with customers. Devote the time necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of the role. Pursue continuous professional development in insurance products and sales effectiveness. Qualifications Minimum of 18 years of age. Customer service experience. Valid driver’s license with required auto insurance coverage. Dependable vehicle for daily travel. Ability to pass a background check, motor vehicle report, and drug screening. Authorization to work in the United States. Training & Development Preparation Licensing: Free access to study tools and professional guidance to prepare for licensing exams. Training: New agents complete an onboarding development program that includes self‑study, classroom instruction, and field mentoring by a Sales Manager.
