Role Description The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations across Elekta Group Inc., ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic objectives and performance targets. This remote role leads operational planning, resource allocation, and cross-functional coordination to drive efficiency, quality, and scalability in a complex, global environment. The COO collaborates closely with executive leadership to define and implement business plans, operational frameworks, and governance models, while monitoring key performance indicators and identifying areas for improvement. Typical responsibilities include managing operational risk, overseeing budgeting and financial controls, optimizing processes and systems, and supporting the development of high-performing teams. The COO also serves as a visible culture leader, promoting ethical practices, inclusion, and data-informed decision-making across all regions and functions.
Qualifications
  • Strong skills in Business Planning and strategic Operations Management to design, implement, and optimize organizational processes and frameworks.
  • Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret complex data, monitor performance metrics, and support evidence-based decision-making.
  • Proficiency in Finance and Budgeting to oversee operational spending, manage financial targets, and support sustainable growth.
  • Demonstrated senior leadership experience in operations or related executive roles within healthcare, technology, or similarly regulated industries.
  • Ability to lead remote, cross-functional teams, foster collaboration, and drive accountability in a global environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience presenting to boards, investors, or executive committees.
  • Track record of managing organizational change, process improvement initiatives, and large-scale transformation programs.
  • Relevant advanced degree (e.g., MBA, Master’s in Finance, Operations, or related field) or equivalent practical experience in executive operations leadership.
