Front Desk Clerk or Guest Services Clerk

New Marriott hotel opening soon! Front desk and guest care positions available, starting at $17-18 per hour. Overnight shifts offer higher wages at $18. Weekend availability hours required. Opening October 1st.

Role responsibilities include:

• Ensuring an excellent first impression for all guests and potential guests.
• Offering assistance to guests and providing concierge service regarding the hotel and the community.
• Ensuring guests' check-in and departure experience is warm and welcoming.
• Working with the team to coordinate and provide services in housekeeping, maintenance, sales, and operations.
• Assisting in processing laundry.
• Utilizing and following all safety and security procedures.
• Managing secure cash handling and processing procedures.
• Managing confidential information for the company and guests.
• Responsible for proper administration for key control.
• Routinely conducting property/security walks.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities include:

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Knowledge of hospitality guest management systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Good organizational skills, detail oriented.
• Comfortable working in an environment that requires multitasking.
• Focused on providing exceptional customer service.
• Able to problem solve and resolve issues effectively and efficiently.
