Job Description Summary Perform high-quality mammograms, bone density scans, ultrasound exams, and invasive procedures for physician interpretation. Support a culture of safety in the workplace. Accurately schedule exams and document events in EPIC and Penrad. Identify improvement opportunities for the department and organization. Responsibilities Perform high-quality mammography imaging and biopsy procedures according to American College of Radiology (ACR) standards to ensure accurate physician interpretation. May also conduct ultrasound and bone density scans. Requires a solid understanding of anatomical positioning, radiographic techniques, and the ability to work independently with initiative and critical thinking. Demonstrate strong customer service skills in a fast-paced outpatient ambulatory environment. Flexibility to support additional outreach sites may be required. Qualifications Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Work Experience: 0-2 years of independent mammography experience required. Current registration from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and certification in mammography. Licensed by the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA). Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or an AHA‑recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
