As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing rehabilitative care to patients under the guidance of a Physical Therapist. Your responsibilities will include:

• Utilizing evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions
• Administering various rehabilitation procedures, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, and modalities
• Assessing patient progress and communicating with the supervising Physical Therapist
• Providing consultation and counseling to patients, families, and caregivers
• Documenting all required information in the electronic documentation system
• Participating in patient care conferences and required meetings
• Supervising and supporting students under the guidance of the Physical Therapist
• Adhering to APTA and State Required practice acts and ethics

Requirements for this role include:

• Active State Licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant
• Need 1 year experience in setting
• Experience in Long-Term Care or Rehabilitation settings
• PTA license
