Salary: $135,000–$140,000 annually
Schedule: 9/80 schedule – employees work 9 days every two weeks and receive every other Friday off

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced  Senior Specialist, Program Finance / Senior Program Financial Analyst to support complex programs within the aerospace and defense industry.

This position is ideal for a finance professional with strong experience in  Earned Value Management, COBRA, SAP, financial forecasting, EAC analysis, budgeting, variance analysis, and program controls .

The successful candidate will work closely with program leadership and cross-functional teams while managing the financial performance of multiple programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain Earned Value Management data integrity across multiple programs.
• Use  COBRA and SAP to support program financial reporting and analysis.
• Perform weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting.
• Analyze financial performance, profitability, cash flow, and variances to plan.
• Create, maintain, and update projects within SAP.
• Ensure accuracy of  Estimate at Completion (EAC)data.
• Develop and maintain program baseline budgets.
• Prepare and review program variance reports.
• Support Control Account Managers with financial reporting and analysis.
• Prepare Integrated Program Management Report deliverables.
• Develop proposal cost estimates and pricing information.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Perform ad hoc financial analysis as required.
• Support risk management, cost estimating, procurement, change management, and program controls activities.
• Mentor junior team members when needed.
• Communicate financial results and program performance to leadership.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering, Science, or a related analytical field.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree , or 4 years with a graduate degree .
• Candidates without a degree must have at least 10 years of related experience .
• Experience with  COBRA and SAP .
• Strong knowledge of  Earned Value Management (EVM)concepts and processes.
• Experience with financial forecasting and variance analysis.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly  Excel .
• Experience with program budgeting, cost estimating, work breakdown structures, and financial management.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Must be able to obtain a  U.S. Secret security clearance if required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Aerospace or defense industry program finance experience.
• Strong Earned Value reporting background.
• Experience supporting government or defense programs.
• MBA or CPA.
• Experience managing financials for large or highly visible programs.
• Knowledge of government contracts and funding profiles.
• Experience with  CPAF, CPFF, T&M, and FFP contract structures.
• Familiarity with  DFARS, ANSI/EIA-748, EVMIG, and NDIA guidance .
• PMP, EVMP, or similar certification.
• Leadership or mentoring experience.
