Responsibilities Assists the doctorsat chair-side with all aspects of dentaltreatment Performs advanceddentalassistingtreatmentincluding coronal polish, sealants, crown prep, denture impressions and adjustments,packing cord,andClassII fillings Sterilize,disinfect,and prepareinstruments andequipmentfor patienttreatment Educate patients on general oral healthcare asdirected by thedoctor Presenting treatment to patients based onDoctorrecommendations Complete x-rays and intra-oral pictures of patients in an efficient and timely manner Record patient charting and all the doctor’s notes in the digital patient chart asdirected Provides continuous support, training, and feedback toteammates Store and maintains inventory and adequate supplies in all dental workareas Maintain strict compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations, (e.g., OSHA, HIPAA, andRisaspolicies and practices) Performadditional advancedduties as requested by Doctors or Office Manager Qualifications Bilingual in Spanish/English High School Diploma or GEDrequired EDDA Certificationpreferred 3years’ experiencein the dental field preferred X-ray certification Coronal polish certification Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Mustbe highly skilled, trained, andhave superior knowledge of dental clinical operationsandterminology Ability to anticipate the needs of the doctor andpatients Must haveawarm,friendly, outgoing personality and excellent organizational skills. Ability to work within a team environment and lendsupport, as a team player,to teammatesas needed.
