SUE Site Survey Technician

SUE Site Survey Technician Responsibilities Utilize advanced geophysical equipment, observational skills, and deductive reasoning to identify, designate, and locate utilities within a requested job scope in accordance with ASCE 38-02 & 38-22. Utilize existing troubleshooting skills and learn new procedures and technologies. Perform frequent lifting of equipment up to 50 pounds unassisted, daily walking several miles, and work in various outdoor construction environments. Qualifications BS Degree + 2 years of related experience OR AS Degree + 4 years of related experience OR HS/GED + 6 years of related experience OR demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education SUE, private locating and/or surveying experience Valid U.S. Driver’s License (must pass Motor Vehicle Records review) Frequent field travel, including overnight stays, and substantial outdoor work in diverse weather and terrain conditions Preferred Qualifications Experience and understanding of SUE practices and procedures in accordance with ASCE 38-02 & 38-22 Detail-oriented and able to maintain a positive attitude Ability to work independently with little direct supervision Benefits Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, life, AD & D, disability, paid time off, leave of absence, flexible work options, and retirement savings plan.
