Radiologic Technologist – Second Shift (Full-Time) Northwest Kansas | Non-Exempt | Monday–Friday | 4×9.5 hr Shifts | Rotating Call Position Summary A healthcare facility in Northwest Kansas is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist for a full-time second‑shift role. This position performs a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, supports patient safety, and provides high‑quality customer service. Key Responsibilities Prepare and position patients for imaging exams, ensuring comfort and safety. Perform radiologic procedures following established protocols and regulatory standards. Maintain image quality, accurate documentation, and timely submission to PACS. Use appropriate radiation safety practices for patients and staff. Assist with patient mobility, transfers, and general care needs. Monitor and maintain imaging equipment; report issues as needed. Complete administrative tasks such as scheduling, documentation, and EMR entries. Maintain inventory of supplies and support department operations. Cross‑train in additional modalities such as CT, DEXA, or mammography (training available). Participate in call rotation with a required 30‑minute response time. Collaborate effectively with patients, providers, and team members. Required Qualifications Associate’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program. ARRT certification (or registry eligible). State Radiologic Technologist licensure (or ability to obtain). BLS certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days). Preferred Qualifications 1–3 years of experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome. CT experience is a plus; training available for those without prior CT skills. Skills & Competencies Knowledge of radiologic procedures, equipment, safety, and anatomy. IV competency and familiarity with contrast imaging. Strong communication, customer service, and teamwork skills. Ability to work accurately under pressure and adapt to changing demands. Competent in EMR systems and basic computer use. Commitment to confidentiality and regulatory compliance. Work Environment Frequent walking, standing, and lifting to assist patients. Regular use of computers and imaging equipment.
