Parts Counter Person

Job Summary:** The Parts Counter Person is responsible for assisting customers and technicians in identifying and obtaining the correct parts for vehicle maintenance and repair. This role ensures efficient parts inventory management and exceptional customer service. Job Responsibilities:** Assist retail customers and service technicians in selecting and purchasing required parts. Utilize electronic parts catalogs and other resources to accurately identify parts. Process parts orders, including special orders, and track their status. Maintain accurate inventory records, including receiving, stocking, and returning parts. Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with resolving discrepancies. Communicate effectively with customers regarding part availability, pricing, and estimated delivery times. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently. Process payments and issue invoices accurately. Keep the parts department clean, organized, and well-stocked. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines. Continuously update product knowledge of Audi and Porsche parts and accessories. Job Qualifications:** High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in automotive parts sales or a related field preferred. Strong knowledge of automotive parts and systems, particularly Audi and Porsche preferred. Proficient in using computer systems and electronic parts catalogs. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
