The team is built around ownership, responsiveness, and accountability, serving hospice programs across Oklahoma. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Pharmacist role based in Norman, OK. The Pharmacist will dispense and verify hospice medications, review prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness, and ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards. Daily responsibilities include counseling hospice providers and care teams on medication use, dosing, and potential interactions, as well as collaborating with nurses and caregivers to support patient comfort and symptom management. The role involves managing clinical and operational workflows, overseeing technician activities, and maintaining accurate documentation in pharmacy systems. The Pharmacist will also participate in after-hours coordination as needed, contribute to process improvements, and support a culture of reliability, clarity, and trust with hospice partners. Qualifications Current, unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of Oklahoma; Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent degree. Clinical expertise in medication therapy management, hospice or palliative care, and pain and symptom management. Strong knowledge of federal and state pharmacy regulations, controlled substance management, and patient safety standards. Proficiency with pharmacy management systems, electronic prescribing, and basic data entry and documentation tools. Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with hospice providers, nurses, caregivers, and internal team members. Demonstrated ability to prioritize, manage time effectively, and perform accurately in a fast-paced, high-responsibility environment. Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care and a high level of professional integrity and accountability. Previous experience in hospice, long-term care, or clinical pharmacy settings is preferred but not required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
