Job Title: Direct Support Professional (DSP) – 2nd Shift Location: Cuyahoga County, Ohio Company: Helpful Hearted Providers Inc. Pay: $16.00 – $20.00 per hour (based on case complexity) Shift: 2nd Shift (4:00 PM – 12:00 AM) Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time Available About Helpful Hearted Providers Inc. Our team provides person-centered care in residential and community settings throughout Cuyahoga County. Position Summary We are seeking compassionate and dependable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) for 2nd shift (4:00 PM – 12:00 AM). DSPs assist individuals with daily living activities, community integration, and personal goals while ensuring health and safety at all times. Essential Responsibilities Assist individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs), including hygiene, grooming, and meal preparation Support medication administration (as trained and certified) Provide supervision and ensure a safe, structured environment Implement Individual Service Plans (ISPs) Document services and daily activities accurately and timely Assist with transportation and community outings as needed Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Valid Ohio driver’s license (preferred) Ability to pass background check and required screenings Compassionate, reliable, and professional demeanor Experience in developmental disabilities or healthcare preferred (but not required – training provided) Compensation & Benefits $16.00 – $20.00 per hour (based on complexity of assigned case) Weekly pay (every Thursday) Medical benefits available after 90-day probationary period Paid training Supportive team environment Opportunities for growth and advancement Schedule 2nd Shift: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM Some weekends and holidays may be required Why Join Helpful Hearted Providers?
