Primary Purpose of Job: As a Beverage Tech, your primary responsibility is maintaining food and beverage equipment and providing equipment installations, repairs, and preventative maintenance to all beverage equipment found at Midwest Petroleum’s retail locations. Most locations have fountain soda machines, but can also include coffee, cappuccino, tea, ice dispensing, and water filtration equipment. All Beverage Techs take part in the 24/7 On-call shift rotations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:          Install and service new or existing equipment as needed. Travel between stores and provide routine scheduled maintenance and unscheduled breakdown repairs. o Provide scheduled preventative maintenance. Troubleshoot, resolve, and test any issues found in fountain soda machines, coffee, cappuccino, tea, ice dispensing, CO2 tanks, and water filtration equipment. Read and interpret manuals, work orders, schematics, and other equipment documentation. Comply with state and federal regulations. Documenting all repairs made by producing detailed service reports. o Making appropriate recommendations and briefing on repairs, diagnostics, and equipment specifications Inventory of all maintenance supplies and ensure they are safe and in good working condition. Following company procedures and protocols Handle any other work that can be assigned at the supervisor’s discretion. Physical Requirements This position is performed in a fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to general office equipment, beverage equipment, coolers, and any other site-specific equipment/factors. You could also encounter exposure to hazardous materials and loud noises. This job requires the ability to walk, stand, bend, and reach regularly. Must be able to frequently lift, push, or pull weight of at least 5 to 75 pounds. Ability to work in different Midwest Petroleum Stations.
