Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status, history, and support systems, informing treatment plans.

  • Deliver individual, family, and group therapy using evidence-based modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused techniques tailored to the unique needs of each client.

  • Design and implement comprehensive treatment plans that include clearly defined goals and therapeutic interventions, adjusting strategies based on ongoing evaluations and client feedback.

  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and addiction specialists, ensuring cohesive and coordinated care within the detox center.

  • Provide immediate crisis intervention during acute episodes by assessing risk, developing safety plans, and connecting clients with necessary services.

  • Facilitate group therapy sessions and psychoeducational workshops, enriching clients' understanding of mental health issues while promoting peer support.

  • Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with ethical standards and legal requirements, leveraging electronic health record systems.

Your primary focus will be on individuals experiencing addiction-related challenges. This population often grapples with complex mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and trauma. Qualifications\n

  • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

  • Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
