Job Description
Lone Star Facility Management LLC is seeking a skilled and reliable Independent Handyman (1099) to provide general handyman services and property maintenance for commercial facilities. As an independent contractor, you will manage company-dispatched assignments, troubleshoot jobsites, communicate with customers, complete quality inspections, and document each completed service using your own tools and reliable transportation.
Responsibilities
- Perform general handyman repairs and property maintenance projects at commercial facilities
- Respond to and manage company-dispatched service assignments
- Troubleshoot jobsites and identify effective repair solutions
- Prepare accurate service estimates, invoices, and related documentation
- Communicate professionally with customers throughout each service call
- Complete quality inspections to verify work meets company and customer expectations
- Submit service notes and photos, customer sign-offs, and completion reports after each job
- Manage schedules and service documentation using scheduling software
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of handyman experience
- Experience performing handyman repairs and property maintenance
- Experience with service estimating
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Proficiency with scheduling software
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Effective time management and problem-solving abilities
