Location Armstrong Campus - Savannah, GA Department Information Electronic Access & Lockshop Job Summary This position will be responsible for the maintenance of locks, keys and security systems and ensuring that all security devices are in adequate working condition. Responsibilities Install, maintain, repair and replace all lock systems for campus buildings, apartments, equipment and property Cut and issue keys to faculty, staff and students Install cylinders in locks Pick lock, change settings of locks, open safes and respond to emergency locksmith needs throughout campus Maintain daily record of time and materials used on projects Maintain records to accurately reflect key losses Repair, rebuild and replace glass doors, door closures, floor hinges and other hardware Follow all safety and other risk management policies in performance of work Attend safety meetings Maintain, repair and clean tools, equipment and work areas Required Qualifications Educational Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent Required Experience Two (2) or more years of related work experience Proposed Salary $18.12 - $22.21 per hour This is a non-exempt position paid on a biweekly basis. KNOWLEDGE

Adhere to University policies and procedures to meet Institutional goals and support University's mission for student success Extensive knowledge of locks including: design construction installation maintenance operation repair Knowledge of rebuilding all types of locks, locking devices, panic door devices and door checks

SKILLS
