Senior Business Analyst

Kforce's client in Orange, CA is needing a Senior Business Analyst responsible for gathering, analyzing, writing, reviewing, and maintaining business and technical requirements and related artifacts for a healthcare insurance related SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) application development initiative, while collaborating with team members.
- 5-8+ years in a recent Senior Business Analyst role
- Strong experience gathering, documenting, validating, and managing business and technical requirements
- Experience supporting or participating in a SaaS platform migration is specifically called out in the required knowledge and skills section
- Experience supporting the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Collaboration experience with project managers, developers, testers, and business teams
- Requirements gathering and elicitation
- Requirements traceability
- Requirements lifecycle management
- Creating BA artifacts and documentation
- Requirements analysis, validation, and design definition
- Facilitating meetings and workshops
- Working with large or difficult stakeholder groups
- Influencing without direct authority
- Communicating with senior leadership.
- Microsoft Visio
- Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
- SharePoint and Teams
- Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar SDLC tools
- Requirements management tools such as JAMA or Rally are preferred
